Gerding Companies

Benefiting Communities Since 1967.

The origins of Gerding Companies began nearly six decades ago as a small general contracting company under the leadership of the founder, Dale Ramsay. Almost 30 years after starting and growing the company, Dale was joined by Tom Gerding.

Through their partnership and eventual change of ownership, Gerding Companies has become a corporation managing three construction companies: TGC Structural, Gerding Builders, and Hughes Excavation.

The three companies now under the Gerding Companies umbrella serve three distinct purposes within the greater company:

TCG Structural is the sub-contractor component, employing unionized craft laborers specializing in concrete and carpentry.

Gerding Builders is the general contracting division – specializing in commercial, government, and multi-family housing projects – serving clients across the Northwest region and beyond.

Hughes Excavation offers excavation, sewer, and septic services to local families and businesses in the Philomath, Corvallis, Albany, and Lebanon areas.
